La Lavande Online Wholesale Customer Terms and Conditions

Your order constitutes an agreement to follow the policies listed below:

Minimums: A $150.00 minimum order is required for new customers or customers inactive for 1 year or more. A $100.00 minimum for re-orders. All orders are subject to the acceptance of La Lavande.

Shipping: La Lavande processes your order upon receipt and begins pulling and packing as soon as possible. Except during peak shipping periods we usually ship within 1-3 business days after receiving your order. After orders are shipped UPS takes approximately 5-7 business days for delivery depending on shipping zone and weather. La Lavande cannot be held responsible for delays or losses due to carrier responsibility. If a package is damaged, lost or stolen, please contact us immediately with all available information. Customers are responsible for providing special delivery instructions to La Lavande including where to leave packages upon delivery. La Lavande will communicate this to the carrier but cannot be responsible if the carrier does not follow those instructions. Customers are responsible for all shipping costs, including UPS fees and surcharges.  Customers who wish to use their own UPS billing account need to first assure that their account accepts Freight Collect charges and allows 3rd party billing.  Once you have assured La Lavande can act as a a 3rd party biller on your account you may  provide us with your billing code over the phone or in the notes section at checkout.  If the customer UPS code is incorrect, if your account does not allow Freight Collect or 3rd party billing, or if customer shipping costs are charged to La Lavande’s UPS account for any reason, the customer is responsible for shipping costs and any chargebacks associated with shipping.

Terms: La Lavande accepts all major credit cards. Net 30 terms are available for established customers when ordering by phone or email. A finance charge of 1.5% per month (18% annual rate) will be assessed on all past due invoices or balances owed.  There will be a $25 fee for returned checks. In the event it becomes necessary to employ an outside service to collect your obligation, buyer agrees to any and all costs associated with such services.

Returns: If you feel you have received the wrong item please contact us for a return authorization number, unauthorized returns will be refused. Returned orders may be subject to a freight charge and 20% restocking fee.

Backorders: We make every attempt to keep our stock current. In the event we run out of stock we will contact you and either refund your credit card or put the item on backorder.

Shortages & Damages: Your items have been triple-checked for correct quantities. If you are certain there is a discrepancy please contact us immediately. Do not sell any of the merchandise until you have notified us. In case of damages save all boxes and contents, call UPS immediately at 1-800-742-5877 and contact La Lavande. UPS will pick up the box so we can settle with you. Please notify us within 7 days of the receipt of shipment for shortages or damages.

Cancellation Policy: Orders are normally processed & filled upon receipt. Cancellations of processed and filled order may require a 20% restocking fee. If a refund is approved for a processed but unfilled online order, customer may be charged a 3-5% processing fee. Custom and large orders are subject to special cancellation requirements.

Price Changes: Due to fluctuating currency and availability of goods, all prices are subject to change without notice.

Samples: In order to encourage you to try new items, per request we can include a free sample with your order.

Additional UPS Charges: Please verify that your address is 100% accurate and make sure to include street address, suite # and zip code. La Lavande is not responsible for customer errors in shipping information entry. It has come to our attention that even minor inaccuracies such as the wrong suite number or zip code can result in charges of $21 per box. The customer is responsible for any and all UPS charges incurred as a result of an incorrect address. Please note that UPS identifies Residential, Commercial & Remote zones according to their own schedule, as such surcharges may vary and are customer’s responsibility.

Prospective Vendors: Prospective vendors must have an active retail business. If you are a California vendor please provide a current resale number and complete and return a California Resale Certificate or you will be charged sales tax. Please note that having a resale number does not automatically entitle a person to sell La Lavande products.

E-commerce Customers: We welcome accounts for those who have their own websites or eCommerce businesses. We are not currently opening accounts for Amazon and eBay. For vendors on Etsy please contact us for more details about our policy.
